Julian Bunetta, Harvey Mason jr. to be honored; Keynote by Meta President Dina Powell McCormick

Washington, D.C. — The National Music Publishers’ Association (NMPA) today announced the honorees for its 2026 Annual Meeting which will take place at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall on June 10th.

P!NK will receive this year’s NMPA Songwriter Icon Award. The 10-time NMPA Gold & Platinum certified, 3X GRAMMY Award winner is a global force known for her bold artistry and influential songwriting that has spanned decades. Her craft is seen not only in her own chart-topping albums but also in the works of other revered artists including Celine Dion, Faith Hill, and Cher.

Julian Bunetta will also be honored with the NMPA Non-Performing Songwriter Icon Award for his incredible success in multiple genres. Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso,” Teddy Swim’s “Lose Control,” and One Direction’s “Night Changes” all have Bunetta behind them. The 3X GRAMMY nominee has amassed 41 NMPA Gold & Platinum songwriting certifications and continues to create massive hits.

Meta President and Vice Chairman Dina Powell McCormick will sit down for a keynote conversation with NMPA President & CEO David Israelite. Her distinguished career has spanned government, finance, and now one of the leading tech companies in the world.

Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason jr. will receive NMPA’s Industry Legacy Award to honor the groundbreaking work he has done to elevate songwriters while leading the Academy including honoring them for Album of the Year and introducing the Songwriter of the Year Award.

As always, the event will include in-depth industry analysis, announcements, and special tribute performances.
