Kelly Sagaser

Kelly Sagaser joined the NMPA in 2025 and serves as Vice President of Government Affairs. She works on policy issues affecting music publishers and songwriters.

Before joining NMPA, Kelly ran an independent legal practice advising creators on protecting and enforcing their intellectual property rights. Prior to establishing her independent practice, Kelly was an attorney at Mayer Brown focusing on IP litigation.

Kelly’s background also includes public-sector and nonprofit legal experience with Los Angeles City Council, the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, and California Lawyers for the Arts. She earned her J.D. from UC Law San Francisco and her B.A. from UCLA.
