HFA Expands Executive Staff.
The Harry Fox Agency, Inc. (HFA), wholly owned licensing subsidiary of the National Music Publishers' Association, Inc. (NMPA), has expanded its executive staff with the appointments of Charles Sanders to Vice President, Legal; Margaret Drum to Vice President, Public Relations; and Diane Crafford to Vice President, Human Resources/Administration, it was announced today by Edward P. Murphy, President and CEO of the organization.

"Through their dedication and talent, Charles, Margaret and Diane are part of the new dynamic shaping of HFA as we move into the next century," stated Murphy. "I am pleased to recognize their abilities with these well-deserved appointments."

Sanders, who formerly served as Special Assistant to the President and CEO, will continue to serve as Counsel to HFA. Prior to joining HFA in 1986, Sanders served as Macmillan, Inc.'s legal liaison to its music publishing subsidiary G. Schirmer, Inc. He is also a member of the California, New York and District of Columbia bars, and a director of World Hunger Year, the music industry's foremost anti-hunger organization.

O'Keeffe, who serves as Public Relations Manager for NMPA, will continue to oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's public relations efforts, including NMPA/HFA publications, NMPA membership, advertising, special events and the NMPA home page on the Internet. Prior to joining NMPA/HFA in 1989, O'Keeffe was Director of the Scholastic Awards Program in Writing, Art and Photography, and also worked at Esquire magazine in the public relations and trademark areas.

Crafford, formerly Director of Human Resources and Administration, will oversee the operation of the Human Resources, Payroll and Benefits, Office Administration and Client Services departments. Prior to joining NMPA/HFA, Crafford worked as a film production coordinator for Universal Pictures and independent producers. She also served as Assistant to the President of MCA Music.
