New York, New York -- Robert K. Conlon has been named Vice President, Systems & Communications of The Harry Fox Agency, Inc. (HFA), a licensing subsidiary of the National Music Publishers' Association, Inc. (NMPA), it was announced today by Edward P. Murphy, President and Chief Executive Officer of NMPA/HFA. In his new capacity Conlon will coordinate the daily operations of the organization's information management and communications systems. "I am pleased to welcome Robert to the NMPA/HFA family," stated Murphy. "The breadth of his experience in IS management will be an asset as we continue to expand the scope of our services to our publisher principals and clients." Prior to joining HFA, Conlon served as Director, Systems Support for Nautica Enterprises, Inc. Formerly, he was Data Support Officer of the Toronto Dominion Bank, USA Division. The National Music Publishers' Association, founded in 1917, works to protect and advance the interests of the music publishing industry. With over 600 members, the NMPA represents the most important and influential music publishing firms throughout the United States. The Harry Fox Agency, Inc., a licensing subsidiary of NMPA, provides an information source, clearing house, and monitoring service for licensing musical copyrights, and represents 17,000 music publishers. |
