New York, NY, April 23, 2001 - Gary Churgin, President & CEO of The Harry Fox Agency, Inc. (HFA) today announced the promotion of Alfred C. Pedecine to Chief Financial Officer for the Agency. Pedecine joined HFA in 1999 as Senior Vice President, Distribution and Collections. As CFO, Pedecine will be responsible for the overall financial functions of the Agency, including financial reporting, planning and cash management, as well as the collections and distribution areas. Pedecine continues to report directly to Churgin. Pedecine has extensive experience in the entertainment industry, having served in financial management positions at the Def Jam Music Group, EMI Records Group, PolyGram and Arista Records. A graduate of Lehigh University and a CPA, he began his career at Price Waterhouse and has also worked in the consumer products industry. "I am delighted to have Al take on the responsibility of Chief Financial Officer for HFA," stated Churgin. "The depth and scope of his knowledge, especially his record label experience, is a valuable asset for the Agency as we work to continue to provide enhanced services to our publisher principals and clients."
